try ur thermastat ull find inside the casing at the engine end of the hose on the right if not u might have an air lock if so take water filler cap off and run engine untill all the air is out ur system but if one side is cold its not circulating hence it will more likley be that you need a new thermastat mate hope this helps .

the pipe on the right which goes into the top of the radiator is supposed to be hot. thats the entry point into the radiator and the bottom hose is the exit so it should be cooler

sounds like you need to bleed your coolant system.

+1 if that doesn`t work then put in a new thermostat.

may also be worth checking for some kind of blockage or restriction in the radiator if none of that works, although more unlikely than whats already suggested

If you change the thermostat, you'll need to bleed the system anyway.

or just go the full works and take it apart... when you do that, you can see it all and clean the pipes/engine/radiator. plus while it is apart you can test the thermostat would be the best option TBH unless the coolant has been renewed recently...
