Don't know if this is stupid or not?

   Bought some Wynn's petrol injector cleaner. I'm curious as the bottle doesn't go down into the tank further enough to open the flap like when filling the car up with petrol.
   
   Is that normal and will it still go into the tank with the flap closed?

   get a small funnel or failing that flip it open with a flat headed screwdriver and pour it in
