Mot light question

    Do you need the upper rear brake light at the top of the rear window for mot? Might be a dumb question, just wondering

    im not so sure, if the rear side brake lights work i cant see it being a fail

    Well Im taking it off because it is going to rattle so don't want to cut the wires if it's going to cause any problems at all

    I'm sure if your 2 rear ones are working it will be fine.

    i think i read u need to have a high level brake light for some reason.

    dont need one for an mot, but if its there it must be secure and operational. If its not there at all its not 'failable' on

    Says to me that if fitted and they look like they are connected they have to work. If fitted but not connected then not a fail

    So in the OP case.. aslong as the 2 main brake lights are working then he's fine with removing it
