removing rocker cover

   ok when i remove the rocker cover do i have to replace the sealent on it?? i wanna adjust my tappets but dont have the replacement gasket, what happens if i dont replace it?

   If your gasket isn't too perished you can replace it, but ideally you would. If not, you might just get a bit of oil leakage (lol) around the seal.

   if the rubber gasket is in good condition wipe off all the oil on the head and smear a tiny amount of oil on the gasket as this will help it seal.
