Stupid car.

   Getting annoyed with it now , Car runs like a sack of crap on idle and the longer i stay still the worse it gets (really lumpy) yet if i rag it for abit it runs great for awhile? whats that about.. Cheers

   could be the icv? mine dones the same and I was told it was the icv....

   Your car runs really lumpy then after a thrash it runs fine for awhile as well?.. ive tried cleaning the icv but problem is still there

   Take the ICV out and see if it moves when you turn on the ignition.

   Yes it should pulse in/out.Try some fuel treatment/fuel filter.

   Cleaning the idle valve does'nt always cure the fault, it may be behond cleaning. If you suspect it's bad I'd just replace it.

    i used redex in mine, think it helped a little

    mine did the same and when i had new icv it still did it and the garage adjusted the idle valve speed or something and its okay now
