Getting Seriously Fed Up Now!!!

  1. #1
    Alright guys, hows tricks?

Ive changed the front discs and pads AGAIN on my VTR due to the grinding noise when braking....ive put Mintex ones on this time and they seem sharp as fook and im very happy with them...BUT.....they have started making the bloody noise again!

It sounds like something is flapping around under the drivers side but when i brake it goes....ive litteraly stipped the caliper down, greased everything up, got rid of all dirt and rust and everything is working perfect, except this fooking noise!

Im seriously thinking of getting rid of the car now as its seriously starting to do my tits in.....

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Im based in Darlington, if theres any1 about this area that could have a look for me....

    Cheers,

    Dave

Wishbone bolts, Driveshaft, Wheel Bearing, Droplinks?

I'd personally start with the wishbone bolts underneath the carpet. I use to get it in my VTR.

Could it just be a case of things becoming loose? and how come the sound goes when i apply the brakes? (even if i just touch the brakes slightly it goes)

Back plate touchig disc? Carrier where pads sit slightly worn so pads rattling due to been slightly loose?
