do i need a aftermarket ecu for turbo ?

    okay do you have to have a aftermarket ecu to run a basic turbo kit on my vts ??

    If you're only running a very low pressure turbo, you should be able to get away with fitting a higher value MAP sensor. This trick used to work when people turboed zetec ford engines, but you'll still need a remap to make it all work.

    So at the end of the day no, but it'll probably end up costing you the same as an aftermarket ECU.
