Important! : Manifold blowing now engine management light has come on!

    Basically My manifold has Been blowing recently and getting worse as I drive it, now the engine management light has come on! What does this mean and what do I need to do to resolve it?

    Also will it eventually screw the car up if I drive it?

    probably because of the lamba sensor and get the exhaust blowing sorted and disconnect the battery for 30 mins and re connect it (im not very good when it comes to mechanical stuff but this is just a guess) hope this helps

    Well you need to fix the blow in the manifold dude lol

    I know haha, Its pretty much right by where it goes into the engine. Is it risky driving until it can get fixed at the weekend?

    Not really, only risk is getting pulled by the police for excess noise.

    Get pulled by Vosa they will have a field day though

    MPG may be down a little as well.

    Get four branch manifold if it need replaceing bhp increase and better throttle response ;D

    All sorted just got it welded up for now until I can eventually afford a 4-2-1
