Query - MOT Certificate/Services.

    Hi guys, okay first query, on my MOT certificate, they typo'd it and took 8,000 miles off it, it had done 58,005 on the certificate they have typo'd it to 50,805, is this a problem lol? This was in August.

    Also had 2 services since I've owned it, found the service book-part of the manual thing and they haven't signed them, should I just sign them in myself?

    1st one go back to the mot station & query it.

    2nd one its technically fraud.

    as i was aware this is false information (fraud). you need to go back to the test station and get them to change the information

    I could be wrong but you have only got a certain amount of time to go back and have changes made. Defintely still worth an ask though..

    The place where the service was done should have records so go and ask them to do the honours and sign the book..

    how you going to prove your car had 58000 on the clock if mot was done in august

    Can do it one of two ways:

    1: Ignore it until next years MOT unless your planning to sell there should be no problems or

    2: Tell them because your insurance is limited to a certain amount of miles and you may only end up screwing yourself should you have a bump and it appears that you have gone over your allowed miles.
