   Hi guys,
   
   i have recently managed to snap the breather pipe were it runs into the air filter on my 1.1 (02). Any ideas were i can get a replacement and is it an easy fix.
   
   The MOT is due soon.

   Easy fix but the clips are a twat.
   
   I joined mine using copper pipe when it snapped. Easy peasy

   i would leave it off for the mot... cleaner emmitions lol

   It has nothing to do with emissions.

   breather.. dirty air coming out the engine, oil vapour.. fuel vapour.. steam ect ect
   
   being sucked back into the air intake...
   
   depending on the condition of the engine and how heavy it breathes then it CAN have an effect on emmisions
   
   Was actually ment as a light hearted comment

   its part of the crank case ventilation,its ment to help with emissions but does fuck all

   I got one from the scrap yard a few weeks back. Only cost me £3.

    breather pipes are for pressure release.

    just put abit of rubber pipe same diamiter and a jubile clip thats the right size

    Without the breather pipe the pressure builds up & you`ll end up pissing out oil.
