Springs + Dampers Question

    Just a quick question regarding springs and damper combination, basically I want to drop the full 60mm on my VTS, now am I right in thinking that if I get Apex 60mm springs on bilstein dampers I'll acheive the full 60mm can anyone confirm? And also do you have to upgrade the rear dampers when dropping 70mm??

    Also does the Apex 60mm kit come with the X-Low dampers or?

    Apex kit is 50mm not 60mm. The dampers in the kit are perfectly adequate. General recommendation is that dampers should ideally be upgraded from standard for anything lower than 40mm. I'd always recommend spending the extra and getting a full kit regardless of height, Apex or Spax VSX kits aren't particularly expensive to be fair.

    There will always be some who are on a very small budget and leave standard dampers on at silly low heights, sure the car will still be drivable but ride quality and comfort would be pretty poor.
