wiring a bluetooth mirror

   ok so ive got a bluetooth rearview mirror, but it works off cigarette lighter, what i want to do is wire it to a switch somewhere in the car pref one of the blank switch covers, what would i need to do to wire it up?? i know id need to run wires around the interior etc but just not sure how id wire the switch

   so its wired straight to battery btw

   Go from the central interior light just above the mirror (it pops out and the wires are just behind) - much closer and less hassle to run wires anywhere - with a bit of imagination you could probably add a neat switch up there as well for it.

   so i can just run it off the power source for the interior light? would i need to put a fuse or anything in?

   Probably a good idea to add a blade style in-line fuse - there's plenty of space above the light to hide everything - just make sure you get the right connection and not the one that provides power only when the door is open lol
