#4Get a garage to press it in.

#5the whole balljoint has come out of the arm? i doubt the new one will hold in either if thats what you mean
-
#6the balljoint popped out of the lower arm or out of the hub ? . . .
-
#7Yea ball joint has come out of lower arm
-
#8thats intresting, they are a tight interference fit normally, either the arm is damaged or the balljoint itself. but your unlikely to be able to get it back in and safe with the arm on the car.
its hard to say without seeing it but id put a couple of quid on the arm has a crack and the joint just drops in and out.
either way its likely not safe. best get someone who knows what there talking about to have a look over it. -
#9here is a pic of a new lower arm, pretend this is my arm the, red part i have circled the ball joint when i hammer this and and get the hub on it it keeps popping out again

hope this helps guys???????? -

#11Well it's fucked.
Just buy a new wishbone for £44... -
#13Yeah you can buy the ball joint's on their own.
But will need a press to get it in. So means you will have to remove it off the car anyway.
And your still not sure why the ball joint popped out in the first place, so the actual wishbone might be cracked.
So i'd just fit a new one tbh mate. -
#14You can buy a ball joint but you'd need to get it pressed in. From what you're saying there is a problem with the arm itself, which is why its falling out? So you'd need the whole bottom arm anyway.
