starting vtr noise

   Hi, when I turn the engine one it makes a sort of screeching sound before starting, doesnt sound too good if im honest, any ideas what this could be?

   is it when trying to crank? sometimes if the starter doesn't fully engage and you hear a loud screech

   It is like a screeching yeah, sounds like shit when it starts up tbh

   as kenny said and your starter moter might be jammin in the fly wheel and not releason upon starting
