Saxo VTR won't turn over

   Hi hopefully someone could give me some ideas on here.
   
   My saxo VTR wouldn't turn over last week, the engine makes the noise like its going to start but never fires up which lead me to think it cant be the starter motor as nothing would happen if it was that so I purchased a coil pack.
   
   I've put the coil pack in the saxo but still the same problem it wont fire up and start. Any ideas?

   You say it won't turn over so is it turning over or not? if it sounds like its going to start its not the starter! if its not turning over its not going to be the coil pack.

   it turns over but doesnt fire up mate but ive changed the coil pack and still the same problem

   are you getting fuel. i.e can you hear the fuel pump prime?
