   wanting to find a cat for my mot wheres best place buy them from price range wise and where do they go mk 2 vtr with 4-2-1 man.....

   is your car a single plug or three plug engine?
   
   as its a mk2 its probably going to be a three plug which means the cat is in the manifold which means taking your 4-2-1 off and fitting a standard manifold for mot time
   
   if your lucky and got a single plug engine the cat goes under the car after the manifold and before the center pipe
