engine is pretty loud and is getting louder, also makes a ticking noise and sounds like a diesel on idle? i thought it could be low on oil, but tbh its more than full. any ideas what it could be because under revs it just sounds horrible, like its blowing and loud and just shit tbh?

#12as above blown exhauast , it could be a hairline crack in your manifole it makes a ticking noise sounds like summit electrical is shorting when it happins try all your mani bolts first tho mate . -

#14im assuming it is mate, iv checked all above the mani and downpipe, and cant see a crack, so am gonna take it off midweek and have a good butchers, and put a lot of gasket sealant around it, it also became loud as soon as id fitted a new exhaust from the cat to the backbox, as before it had loads of holes. so could the back pressure from a newly fitted exhaust cause it to crack?? iv checked all joins and there fine. so its not them. if its not the mani (which im adamant it is) ill start looking at things like engine mounts etcQuote:Originally Posted by graham22211
