Yamaha R1 Throttle bodies

   Im thinking about buying a vts/gti with these fitted.
   
   I've been reading up about these for the past two hours, and yes i've used the search button.
   
   Everytime i search it turns up threads talking about R1 carbs, sometimes R1 throttle bodies. Are these two different things? I know they are different systems, but do you get yamaha R1 bodies and R1 carbs?
   
   If they are carbs then i won't bother, but if they are bodies, are they as good as using jenvey?
   
   Anyone got any experience of using these bodies?
   
   Also with bodies is there any problems with emmisions for mot?
   
   Any help would be great

   Early R1,s ran carbs which are a waste of time for asaxo
   
   Later R1,s ran injection, so had throttle bodies
   
   You are bettr off using gsxr ones or better still jenveys
   
   Sandy does full set ups for bike bodies

   GSXR bodies make a much better conversion.

   what ever you use in throttle bodies you will need to run adifferent ecu to map them to suit the ca and what ever mods it has .
   you are coorect you do not want to run carbs under any circumstance on a saxo by choice

   Found out that it's got yamaha R6 bodies, whats your thoughts on these?
   
   Also if i want to change to jenveys, will i need a different manifold for them to fit?
   
   Any problems with emmissions on bodies?
