Saxo VTR wont start!

    Hi my saxo VTR wont start unless jumped. Not sure its the alternator because the battery is still charged (Lights and everything work fine), its also just had a new battery fitted. It turns over once but then just dies and nothing happens. does anyone no what it could be?

    Starter motor needs replacing.

    Either start motor has gone or the bushes in your alternator are sticking stopping it from charging

    Got the same issue new battery is on started once and now it won't start at all. It turns over but no fire

    And as I'm turning it over my speedo and my temp gauge are going up and down

    Check all your earths on the chassis and gearbox

    Hit the starter with a brush handle and get someone to turn it over whilst doing this. If it starts you need a starter motor
