Vtr/s gear knob?

    Recently got my vtr, was looking to remove the gear knob as this one is disgustingly chromey and chavvy, any ideas where I can get one and how easy they are to take off?

    they just pull off..

    I fitted a white Carbon one of my brothers old Seat Ibiza, it didnt fit properly so we had to wrap the gear stick up with tape to make it a bit thicker,

    as to where to get one from, have you tried ebay ??

    yeah, was looking for an oem one or something smart, i read somewhere that if the original gear knob has been removed them its likely the link is broke or something? meaning it wont be tight - is this true?

    possibly, but mines been removed and its the same as it was before hand, best bet is take off the gear knob that's on there and have a look at plastics, you should be able to see if its been damaged replacing it
