I have pretty much limo black on outside. But can see easily from the inside

How does it work? I've been declaring to insurance an they ask whether it's higher or lower than 35%. I'm not sure how it work out

if you got limo black its defo more than 35%, standard windows are about 15% or something I think. Basically the % is the % of light the window allows through it, so standard windows let through about 85% of the light

Where bouts do you have limo mate is it the back .... Plus I think 35%is a light smoke pal

Its with my insurance, Im trying to declare them, and Ive been asked "are they more or less tha 35%" and i wasnt sure how it was worked out
  8. #8
Its defo more, tbh if its more of less I bet price doesn't change between them

they're more than 35% but it is fine as it is behind the B pillar
its 0-100 past the b pillar
    0-35 before the b pillar
    no front windscreen tint
no real point doing the driver/passenger front windows - they have some tint and its ahrd to get close to 35 without going over/not knowing!

Cheers for the help guys, I called up and asked them to explain it too I was told the higher percentage meant the darker- so i just said they were darker Extra £38.. better than being pulled over

I thought it was the lower the % the darker the tint as it goes on how much light the tint allows through.

i.e. Dark tint 5% - lets through 5% of light
Light tint 50% - lets through 50% of light etc

Yeah that's what i had thought at first, but i just stated to the insurance they were "darker"
