Or do i have to aply something eles first ? Im just gonna go halfords tomorow and buy everything so a list of things would be a big help lol bit cheeky to ask but would be a big big help cheers

#2Wire brush it off, then apply kurust(think thats the name)let that turn black then underseal over the top.

#3my old mk 2 escort was full of Fibreglass Resin and covered with underseal.
passed every mot for years

#4If you mean hide it, rather than sort it, don't do that. Hiding the problem isn't going to do you any favours, as said, wire brush, ku-rust or similar, and then underseal or paint, up to you.

#5wire brush- some decent rust killer, bit of zinc primer- stone chip, hammerite in the colour of your car.
then once a year clean it all off and re-paint in hammerite. -
#6best idea to sort it before it gets worse yeah, rust remedy or something similar then you could use hammerite or even stonechip
-
#7Assuming it's just surface rust and there are no holes then I would go with this also.Quote:Wire brush it off, then apply kurust(think thats the name)let that turn black then underseal over the top.
Check my progress thread as I did this on my arches.
Wire brush on the end of a drill works well
