   the standard NGK plugs are BKR6EZ

   I use Bosch super 4's on my 16v, car start on the button and carn't fault them tbh.

   the R plugs offer no performance advantage over the standard versions, purely a resistor plug to suppress electrical inteference.but really should be considered for anything running an ecu!

   not for mine its for parrys car with all the buggering around last few days cranking the car over it looks like last night was it for the plugs ie flooded engine so going to get plugs for it today change them over and see if it starts then once its started and cold start map has been sorted out will be case of drop oil, change filter and new oil asap

    BKR6EK, not Z, twin electrodezzz cost £9.80 form my local motorfactor, same plug as a gti6.

    has there ever been a test on plugs for brand comparrison?
    
    my local motorsport tuner says his customer mx5 looses 8bhp or near after every race so new plugs are fitted....
