   Can u fit a mk1 vtr head on a 1.4 westcoast
   
   Wud this affect compression

   Yes it'll fit and it shouldnt affect compression, only if its had some off it at a machine shop. Rallye/xsi is the better choice though but really its not going to make a big difference if its got a standard cam. Might as well just put in a proper 1600 8v
