Right my m8 has a set of fast road cams for a vts and I would like to no if one of them will fit a vtr ??

even if it did fit in the head (it wont btw) the lobes would open both inlet and exhaust valves at the same time -

VTR is a single cam with 8v head, one cam that opens both inlet and exhaust valves.
consequently the cams from a VTS are very different to the cam in a VTR.

It is possible but I wouldn't recommend doing it though when its easier to just ft a vts engine -
