how much water?

    how much water is there needed to fill the rad and pipes etc on a vtr? ive got a tiny pin hole and have mot tomorrow so brought some radweld, but dont want to put to much in lol. Upto 14litres it does,

    Anyone know how much?

    I wouldnt bother with radweld tbh. Just change the pipe..

    Half arsed job the first time = more money out of pocket the second sorting it..

    as said just get a new pipe from scrap yard, think they hold 5.5 litres IIRC

    as above change pipe radweld will just end up knacking your rad in the long run and its not gonna do your cooling system any good too .

    this actually works. It'll get you through the mot anyway then do a proper job and just replace it. You'll end up knackering water pump/radiator will these sealing additives. Just remember to flush the system and get the egg out tho, how do you like eggs? Cos it'll probably be pretty well cooked xD

    only brought radweld for mot, have a new rad sat here but its for the earlier vtr, so to small for mine! and yh heard of putting a egg in it but never knew how good it would actually be so just spent a few quid to get the proper thing.
