Rear axle urgent help!!!

Iv got a 51plate vts with disc brakes and non abs, I need to know if any saxo axle will fit my car? Iv been told by my garage yes along as it's non abs and has disk brakes, I just need a second opinion b4 I buy one. It's a rear axle.

not any axle will fit, like your garage said as long as it has disc brakes. Are you sure it's non ABS as in your ABS light does not show up on the dash (MOT fail as per April). I thought all VTSs had ABS

As said VTSs had abs so has yours been completely removed? If not you'd need to use your abs hubs on the beam you buy

whats wromg with your axel, is it bent or just the bearings gone? if its just the bearings gone all you need to use is the new beam and put your own arms on it, so then it doesnt matter if the axel you get has discs or drums and all the main beams are the same

if he's knocking arms off he would be just aswell changing the bearings in the axle he's got. he would be breaking the seal on the other axle anyway which would lead to the bearings going again

oh yeah well i would be using new bearings if i had the arms off anyway but just mean he can use his own arms so it doesnt matter if he gets an axel with drums or abs/non abs as he only needs to use the main beam from it
