Basically need to know if the torsion bar is part of the rear axle. I need a new axle on my car and as it is now it's been lowered all round, so would the new torsion bar have to be set to match the drop on the front? If so do u think a garage would charge extra for adjusting the torsion bar? Thanks

#2Torsion bars are part of the rear axle assembly. So if you're fitting a replacement rear axle/beam, generally they are supplied with its own 2 torsion bars still in tact
So yes you will need to have it lowered, and yes most places will charge extra for doing it. -
#3will need re lowering mate, i wudnt go to a garage tho they charge loads, have a luk on face book or anywhere that advertise, a guy was gonna do mine for 60 quid but i got rid of the car
