Gear linkage

    Well i'm driving down the road and the second, small linkage comes off but the bit on th inside is still stuck on but the bar came away so off i took the bar off but can't get the inside bit off the ball i've been trying to jam it out with a bar the last half an hour.. is there a certain way to get it off or just brute force? cheers!

    if its what i think you mean then an open ended spanner is good for popping the linkages off
