#3you know this isnt a 206gti forum?
theres a member called krisb who lowers alot of peoples cars off here. Not far from you at all, in gatwick area i think -
#4yes i know that the wheels on my saxo vtr are 206 gti ones lol
-
#5dont lower the rear excessively if the fronts not low it looks shite and has a pretty shocking effect on making the car understeer
lowest id go on 16s is 50mm tbh -
#6i will be lowering the front about 80mm from standard but i know its lowered already on front but not sure how much. i want the wheels tucked under arch
-
#7any one got any pics of slammed saxos
-
#8No mate.
Ask google he has allsorts of images etc. -
#10that above looks photoshopped
youll need to loose a lot of the arch front and rear to get it 80mm down on 16s you may also need to look at stretched tyres to work on lock -
#11I thought you said you had a 206gti you wanted lowered!
ive seen a saxo on here on 16' c2 wheels at 85mm rear, 60mm front. How do you plan on lowering the front to 80mm? i think you will have trouble going this low on 16's. my cars quite slammed on 15's, if you want to take a butchers hook -
#12Although if you want the torsion bar adjusted, then i can do it. £60 for just the torsion bar, to whatever height (rubbing is your issue)
Camberly isn't far, at all. Although im afraid i'm not covered by insurance to do mobile work, only covered at my premesis. -
#13There's no way ur gonna get it 80 mm on 16s I've got c2 16z on mine n they rub to fuck , 60 on front 50 on back don't lower back same as front or ull loose traction that's why all cars are higher at back to put weight on front wheels .

#14Where abouts in Camberley are you from mate?
I'm from Sandhurst
on the other hand though its not a good idea to go that low on 16" alloys
50-60mm is the lowest you should go
