hi guys was just wondering if i swap to a vts rad would i need to swap any of the hoses over or not. i hate the stupidly tiny vtr rad and fan. fitting a 4-2-1 manifold soon so would like a little more room to work in so want to fit a vts rad and fan.

#2will just need to cut the bottom hose to fit the rad, easy job. Aslong as you know how to bleed the system properly lol. Though i'm not sure how doing this will create more room to work in....
-
#3as the rad fan is very close to manifold on short vtr rad, on long vts isnt the fan on the other side
-
#4not sure tbh on my car the fan has been on the side closest to the front of the car lol
-
#5infront of the rad so pushes air through radiator. behing bumper before rad yeah.
-
#6fan should be in front of it, so closest to bumper and in the middle.
swapping rad is easy just cut the hose down before you get it in as it will be a night mare otherwise.
when i cut mine it was very hard to get the hose onto the rad so some fairy liquid was needed.
A vts rad is a very good upgrade imo.1 user thanked this post: -
#7im also fitting vts rad to mine just waiting on a bottom hose

#8yea a bottom hose would be a better option if you can get one from a scrappy or cheap

#10sweet ;d wanting the twin fan setup but gotta see how my single slimline fan holds up for now. its a big 12inch fan though, you can fit 2 9inch fans on a vts rad iirc.

#11ive modified my vtr fan to fit but i will look into twin fan setup soon
