furio and vtr speedo

   iv converted my engine from a furio to a vtr. iv noticed the vtr dials should be 140 but my furio ones are at 120. the revs i think are the same. is it vital i change them to vtr ones? as i wont be driving past 120 anyways lol. but will the speedo be accurate? and with the revs being the same they should be fine?
   so do i need to change or not bother?

   i wouldn't bother. mine still work fine. just missing a temp guage. the temp light still works though so thats the main thing

   there is iv got one on mine lol.
   but stuck a vtr engine in and the temp gauge is playing up (on turn of key needle goes half way then slowly drops then the warning light comes on).
   think its coolant temp sensor needs changing but got one from scrappers yesterday and its still doing it so hopefully it was another faulty one. its not the loom cos if i unplug it from the sensor the needle doesnt work at all.
   but yeah my furio has the temp sensor

   Theres no oil temperature guage on a furio or a VTR, just the higher models as standard so GTI/S/xsi. Think the rallye did also saying that

    As said, furio has a temp gauge, only vts. Had oil temp too.

    sorry but my mate had an x reg 1.1 desire and that had a temp gage. mine is w reg lx and only has the light
