Knocking noise... help needed

   Does this sound like driveshaft or cv joint?
   
   Knocking sound from front drivers side wheel area only when I turn right with reasonable amount of lock. Turning left nothing, going straight nothing

   Im sure you're right mate but why not the cv joint?

   you have to replace the driveshaft to replace the cv joint as its all one piece

   as above driveshaft caused this on mine about a year and a half ago. its not to expencive to do

   A local garage has quoted me to replace the cv joint, no mention of the driveshaft? and on europarts website the driveshaft and cv joint dont appear to be all in one piece.
   I'm confused??? its a 2003 model if that helps

   yeah, cv joint is the bit on the left, also circled in this pic:

   Thanks bud, maybe aswell order the driveshaft then if cv joint is attached... saves messing about stripping it down eh
