hi im looking to tidy my mauritius blue vtr up before i sell the las on. i was wondering whats the best product to use to get the swirls out. its pretty visible in direct sunlight and i dont fancy using tcut as it seems too abrasive, i dont want to be spending loads on it though as selling on.. any ideas ??

    1 (or preferably 2) of these: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/access.../prod_280.html

Probably the cheapest way to actually remove swirls effectively. obviously a sealant / wax on top would finish it off, and a proper washing technique would reduce the need for regular polish etc...

The menzerna products Ashley linked are really good and an effective way of removing them as he said. You can do it by hand but a machine polisher with light cutting pad would be better and faster. Poorboy's Black Hole is also a good product. It's a glaze, which has cleansers and fillers so will hide the swirls rather than cutting the clear coat of the paint. Smells good as well
