    as above

    do 247mm lines fit 266mm?
or do you need to change them?

    standard ones work no problem

Not true you can't get full lock properly as the standard line gets strained hence why the braided lines are all longer

whilst i have heard that, i tested it on my car when i fitted them and full lock is absolutely fine

Its hit and miss as to if the standerd lines pull tight or not

It's not just when on full lock you have to worry its when the suspension is working as well

What you have to think about is a static test is different to what happens when your driving down the road

If the lines pull tight and many people find they do even when static then over time they will weaken to the point which they burst!!

Also if spotted pulling tight by an mot tester they are a fail

For the price of the lines is it worth the risk not fitting custom braided items??

So long as you asked for them to fit 266mm calipers they will be

Being so long I can't remember

I had Goodridge lines with one of the later 266mm setups and the they were a bit too long - used to rub when turning. They seemed longer than standard though.
