Hid question

    Iv got some spare bulbs laying around and was wondering can I put these 6k bulbs onto my 8k ballasts. What makes the hid 6000k/8000k? Is it just the bulbs that are different?

    As long as the kits are both 55w then I can plug the different bulbs in?

    aslong as there the same bulb, say h4 or h7 they will fit, the 6k and 8 k just means different shades, the 6k will be more white and the 8k will be more blue in colour

    Wasn't the question. How do you know they are going on my car? I could be putting them on my parents car with projectors and headlight washers?

    Yeah I just didn't know if the ballasts that come with a 8k kit are more powerful than the ones from a 6k kit. But if they are both 55w should be fine I guess
