fuse keeps going -_-

   i have a v reg 1.1 saxo, everytime i plug my sat nav or anything in to the cigarette lighter the fuse blows, and this also makes the horn stop working. -_- its annoys me so much does anyone know what the problem might be? cheers

   A bad earth,check the connections behind the cigarette lighter.

   A bad earth doesn't cause fuses to blow. It's caused by live wires shorting to the body or - wires. It's bound to be a problem within the fag lighter if it only does it when connected. I'd get it out and give it a good clean!

   You putting the right amp fuse in? that would cause it. I have over loaded mine with a mutli adaptor and blew the fuse but put a slightly higher amp one in but its not wise too. The vectra has never blown a fuse no matter how much i over load it lol.
