coil pack firing order

   hey guys finding conflicting answers on this
   
   mk1 1.1i saxo
   
   what is the correct firing order for the coil pack is it
   
   4 1
   3 2
   
   or
   
   1 3
   2 4

   is this right?? i thought number 1 piston was at the gearbox end
   
   
   Facing the engine, Looking at coil pack, 4 pin plug is at the back,
   -----------! ! ! ! -------
   4 1
   3 2
   ----------------------------
   No 1 piston is closest to Timing belt

   1-3-4-2 cylinder number 1 at gearbox end.
