cd head unit working but no sound out of speakers

i had to take all the speakers and cd player and shit out of my car the other day, but as putting them back in today,

i wired the speakers back in correctly, and also the headunit

But, as i was putting the head unit back in, some wires touched and sparked quite abit,

i didnt think it would have blown my head unit because it still works perfect just no sound at all
im guessing fuse?, can anyone confirm this?

all the wiring is correct so?..

Won't be a fuse, if the h/u is still working.

Double check all the wiring out to the speakers, and at the speakers themselves.

i was thinking the same :/, both front and back aint working,
i may wire my subs back in and see if they are pushing out anything, if they are then its the speaker wiring?

Check the wiring as above if thats ok then you may have damaged the hu internally,ie its powering up but the output stage for the speakers is fried mate.

Only other thing I can think of is if you have put the wires in the wrong way round, but mostly when you do this, you get sound out but of very poor quality.

Check the settings on the h/u itself? Maybe its not sending the sound out to where you think it is...

all wiring is sound, there is only one way it can go as the ends only fit one way, unless it as come apart somewhere were i cant see, ill have to have a look tomorrow when its light,

i was thinking i might have damaged the hu but if i didnt wouldnt it not come on at all?..
