My Saxo Is Weird!

    Tonight, I was driving around a roundabout, when I came off I stuck my foot down and it bogged for a few seconds before taking off, it was fine until I came up to another roundabout, went round that and it did it again. It's only done it twice and it's running fine now and I've drove it for an hour since...... Anyone think that something is about to go?

    Did you have low petrol when you went round the roundabout? haha

    Mine use to bog down when i went round sharp corners when i had low petrol, i dont let it get low anymore though so i dont know if it still does it haha

    Sounds like the same problem then haha, It's the first time I've gone round a corner so sharp with low fuel haha

    Probably the speed you took it- as said possibly petrol being forced away from where it should be going

    You going to be in the area on Saturday? I'm fitting my new exhaust and going to be driving about wearing it in.


    That roundabout between Trowbridge, Steeple Ashton and Melksham; I can leave that (not right hand though) doing 50/60 lol.. Wouldnt be that one would it?

    Its not even the fact it leans, imagine holding a washing up bowl of water and suddenly pushing it to the left the water goes to the side, this would leave the lift pump sucking nothing but air and a car doesnt run on air

    I've got work in the afternoon but will be about in the evening Nope not that one haha, coming back from frome at the top of the "ski slope" (near KFC)..... I went round the whole roundabout at 40 haha.

    Is your car lowered to do that speed then? Haha

    Yee Lowered 35 and really stiff suspension.. It goes up on 3 wheels driving slowly up the multistory

    yeah i know ha was just being a smartass ...air+air is not good. but my comment still stands my car runs primarily on air, with a little bit of fuel mixed in

    A couple of my mates have had their Saxo's lowered there and apparently they're alright £180 for front and rear which isn't too bad for the job they do

    well yeah it is true, like a 12:1 ratio of air to fuel, but fuel is a very important part of that mixture xD

    every molecule of fuel needs 14.7molecules of air... so its nore like 14:1 ratio. is it sad that i looked it up like half hour ago? ha!
