I might of stumbled across a vts engine..

Now im mechanically minded with my own lock up(so nice and dry lol)

If i wanted to convert my r to an s, is it just a case of changing the engine and using the same drive shafts and gearbox off my r, or would i need a box to go with the s engine?

I know i will need to change the loom, that s what im not so good at.....

is there any1 on here that can do that?? obviously being paid,,and watered and fed....

    cheers for any help

    where are you located?

you will have to put a return fuel line in for the vts engine.

better to use a vts gearbox with shafts for better pulling power .

Can use same gearbox / shaft's with the 16v engine..

Changing loom is easy, it's really just a few clips onto sensor's.. once laid out they're obvious where they go.

Make sure you remove the immobilizer box before fitting new engine - Unplug whilst running to unlock your current ECU (easier to sell)

Few more things like fan switches / throttlecable / diff / ECU side mount

Make sure the new engine/loom is from the same year car so that the interior loom plug will be the same.

    Good luck

You don't need need a fuel return mines been running for 2 yrs with out one, also there's no difference between r and s shafts, doing it on the cheap all you need is engine, loom and unlocked ecu just make sure its a single plug
