Burning oil?

   When I have the car heater on it smells like burning oil? I think that's wat the smell is anyway :/ any ideas why?

   Doesn't smell now I gave everything a wipe under the bonnet but seems like the oil level is just under the circle for max point :s

   i would keep an eye on your oil and water your heaters work off water being heated and if you can smell oil there could be a chance oil is getting in your water just to be on the safe side id watch the levels.

   It's either that or it's leaking out the front of the block between the head lol....

   well i just keep an eye on levels but its alrite now doesnt smell of oil or anything

   How when the cooling system is sealed as is the heater matrix? Is more likely to be an oil leak giving off fumes when hot
