Really sooty exhaust and soot on the bumper

   Recently my car has been popping like a bitch. It has been going bang like a shot gun. I'm not sure if this is down to the exhaust system or something else with the engine.
   
   I cleaned the car yesterday and have been out today in it. Being the kid I am, I can't resist but make it go pop and bang. I went to the boot and I noticed there was soot all over my clean kam racing back box and a little over the bumper.
   
   I have no idea how it got there (assume from the pops and bangs) but could this mean my valves are worn? Over fueling or just the character of the exhaust system? (421/ss centre section/ kam racing back box

   sounds like it could be over fueling, may just be normal
   
   have you just fitted the exhaust?

   Kam racing exhausts tend to pop and bang anyway, is it de-catted? have u checked your lambda sensors ?

   It has the eml on and turns out to be lambda but its never done this until the last 2 weeks or so but the eml has been on for weeks
