Snapped break hose

   Today i had to break realy hard for a woman driver who pulled out on me and the break hose split and i lost all breaks had to handbreak it and throw it onto the kurb. So i will be going scrappy to get another one and fit it tomoz, will i need to bleed both passenger and drivers side breaks or just the broken one?

   Was it the rubber part? Or the metal? I'd go and get a pair from your local motor factors mate, you don't want to be using second hand brake parts really, especially brake lines. Otherwise the same thing might happen again...might not end so well next time !

   Yh just rubber hose, only reason it happend as i found out earlier was the wheel weight has came lose on the inside of the wheel and caught the hose causing it to slice and take a chunk out of it. Was very lucky this time i will be getting braided ones in about 2weeks so just need something to get by for the time being

   Still mate, new ones are literally a few quid each at the motor factors, won't be much cheaper at the scrappy tbh. And you've got to try and get them off without ruining them.

   O only a few quid i was thinking more like £30ish will defo get new ones now, what size would i need i have 266mm gti brakes with the bosch 54 calipars

   I thought you were getting braided ones? Would get the longer braided ones from swampy on here if you're fitting 266's. Got mine off him pretty quickly and were a good price! As you won't be able to get the longer length that's ideally needed in the rubber ones made for saxo's.
