electric sunroof

   I've started re lining the roof of my phase 2 vtr when I've removed interior light I've noticed a connecter with no where to go is this for electric sunroof , and if so do I get motor etc out of a vts and is it plug and play ? Thanks in advance .

   As far as I know all UK saxo`s don`t have electric sunroofs.

   come to think about there would have to be more than one plug one for switch and one for motor , is there no way it can be done , parts from 306 gti or xsara maybe ?

   Would bother. By the time youve opened it the sun will of went. Manual ftw.

    I'm pretty good at that sort a stuff and there's only one way to learn , I'm gonna look in scrappy see what parts I could use , and I'm to lazy and its 2012 no room for winders in me car

    The wires are for the map/reading light - goes in the place where there's a rectangular blanking plate behind the normal interior light - was an option on Saxo's and they come up occasionally second hand on ebay - both my Saxo's have them as they're quite useful. Wouldn't bother with an electric roof IMHO - more hassles than it'll be worth.

    saw one once go up on ebay used a pug motor and the window switch looked gash

    Same here & he got the power from the ciggy lighter socket.

    dont remember that bit, but just remember the console it was held in looked hacked apart and wank. and said the motor didnt fit the roof properly
