Seat wont lock in position

   My driver seat wont lock in position, so when i brake im licking the windscreen.
   
   Is this a commen problem?
   Is there an easy way to fix or do i need a new runner/seat?
   
   Any help appriciated

   the spring under the seat to lock it in place may be sticking. best to whip the seat out and have a look really.
   
   disconnect the battery and wait for 20 mins just to be safe and disconnect the airbag wire under the seat and undo the 4 bolts holding it in place

   I had this mate and there was a quid on my rails lol. Spent the pound and the problem magically went away.
