High cooling water temp help (thermostat changed)

   The cooling water on my saxo (furio 1.4) is running high sometimes the needle is getting right in the red but no warning light is coming on, this is happening when driving around (even on motorway) and stopped, the fun is coming on but it is still hot. Ive drained and flushed the cooling system and refilled and changed the thermostat there is no air locks Im running out of ideas.

   Maybe your temperature gauge sensor is faulty mate.
