just bought a d coded ecu , the guy reckons the imobiliser pins have been removed i wasnt aware u could remove them , have a reciept which says dcoding - any one know if this can be done ? he also told me if i take my imobiliser out it will affect my fuel pump & coil pack along with a key sign flashing on the dash???

#2i have a decoded ecu and left my immobiliser plugged in just incase. Never heard about it affecting fuel pump/coil pack though. The immobiliser, when activated, cuts power to the fuel pump yes but if disabled it shouldnt matter. Its not connected to the coil pack so i doubt it'd affect that. The light will constantly flash yes, i just put tape over it, although you can cut the wire leading to the bulb, but it means messing about behind the dash

#3If u have a de coded \ unlocked ecu u can unplug immobiliser box and car will run fine
