Audi Turbo help

   My dad has a A4 turbo diesel, the seals on the turbo went and it was blowing blue smoke and needed a new one. It was replaced my a trained mechanic but it is still blowing blue smoke. It is also juddering once the revs reach 2500.
   
   Does anyone know whats going on? Any help would be much appreciated.
   
   
   EDIT: Checked the oil after running and has not gone down since topping up after turbo change.

   how long have you run it for after changing the turbo? usually when turbo seal go, the exhaust fills up with oil and can take ages to burn off

   He's run it quite far now and the blue smoke is a lot less but it's still juddering at 2500 rpm.
