very easy, just need a pair of spanners and some wd40 to break them loose (can't remember what size sorry) just count the number of turns when taking them off so they are roughly in the same position when putting it back togeather. You will need to go and get your tracking done afterwards. Oh and obviously jack it up and take the wheels off first!

Tracking worse than removing and re-fit

just undo the lock nut when your taking it off but leave that where it is and just screw the new one on and tighten the lock nut back up. Just try and leave it exactly where it was. Tracking shouldn't be far off then. But if your getting it done soon as don't worry too much.

They might be stiff as fook though lol, might need some heat

love it how all these people are saying it's an easy job to do, yeh it is unless the track rod ends are so siezed you have to replace the track rod aswell cause you've had to cut it off and weld a nut to try and get it off and it just snapped

btw if all is good and not siezed i can do both sides minus tracking in less than 10 mins ( but i use air tools lool ) glad they didn't give you any problems mate

I had that problem. My solution was to undo the locking nut, get a mate to hold a spanner on the track rod itself whilst I used both hands to undo the track rod end. Cme off easy then.

Also remember to knock the sideways out of the strut as they are side loaded. Avoids damaging the threads.
